If you are a past or existing Blue Egg student wanting to Train with Blue Egg this Fall, the following are Registration Days for you:
Monday August 20th 5 to 8pm
Tuesday August 21st 5 to 8pm
Wednesday August 22nd 5 to 8pm
To Register for Fall Training please come visit us or call on these days. The current proposed Fall Schedule will be updated as of the 16th of August.
NEWS: We have important changes happening this year at Blue Egg. Please read the following information.
Changes for Blue Egg
We are so proud and excited by the progress of many Blue Egg students that I am now making changes within Blue Egg in order to help those ready to begin transitioning from student to professional artist. Blue Egg begins this Fall to provide Artists’ Career Development services.
Additionally, we will have a stronger focus on producing.
In order to make these changes we will no longer be an open school. I anticipate working with a smaller number of new and existing students plus reducing the number of overall training classes that we offer and combining others. We are excited to work with passionate and dedicated students. We still intend to include work with some beginner students who share our commitment and love.
Blue Egg has always been an innovator with respect to training and our approach. Our unique environment, lead by our incredibly talented and knowledgeable faculty has given our students much growth and progress. We now continue to innovate in order that we may be of greater service to artists and students.
In order to offer our new services, I believe that we need to focus our attention and resources. The Fall changes include implementing a minimum age of 17 (with the possibility of some exceptions). Therefore, this September we will not offer children or youth courses including the Mini Triple Threat and Intro to Triple Threat programs. We have thoroughly loved the young students and offering these programs and therefore, we may see their return in the future. I am sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience.
If you are referring new students to Blue Egg, first I would like to thank you; secondly, new students are now required to audition. There are just two dates:
Saturday, August 18th at 1pm
Saturday, September 8th at 11am
All new students must audition with the exception of Songwriting, Music Theory and Drum Lessons. For these courses we will meet with students in person, please call 604.569.0326.
