Blue Egg Instructor – Stewart (Stu)
Hip Hop Fundamentals with Kyle Vincente
If you have never danced before or tried Hip Hop, this is your course. You will learn the basic skills that prepare you to move ahead with more complex combinations. Don’t miss this fun opportunity to learn beginner hip hop skills.
Hip Hop Progressive with Stu Iguidez
Although all of our courses are progressive at Blue Egg, the name progressive stuck with this course because it can move you from one level to the next over the course of a Term. Basic Hip Hop and groove skills are necessary. If you are ready to go to the next level, jump into this faster-paced course with intricate choreography that covers everything from foundational skills to the latest urban moves. The focus is on picking up and polishing choreography in a range of Urban styles.

Hip Hop Intermediate/Advanced – Urban Freestyle with Stu Iguidez
This class is for experienced dancers at an intermediate to semi professional level who are great at picking up choreography and now want to expand their skill set into a freestyle or advanced setting. Specializing in stage presence, musicality, timing, and patience. Come and learn floor tricks and the latest in urban movement.

Pussycat Doll Style Dance with Shauna Smith & Maiko Miyauchi
Ladies only. This cool cat course is for those inspired by the Pussycat Doll Style of dance. Pussycat Doll is a fusion of Hip Hop and Street Jazz, this style of dance is seen frequently in music videos (for an idea of some Pussycat like choreo check out Beyonce, “Single Ladies” video). Sneakers are fine but heels are fabulous! Our super fine teaching duo will have you purrfecting your feline moves in no time.
Hip Hop Teen Progressive with Kyle Vincente
Basic grooves to the latest Urban moves. This class will be taught at a beginner-elementary level, some Hip Hop experience is preferred for this course. The focus will be on choreography to perform in class while providing an improvement to the dancers underlying skills. We recommend taking this Hip Hop class as a part of our Teen Glee Program: Sing – Dance – Act, which culminates in a performance.
Youth Hip Hop with Kyle Vincente
Visit the Teen & Children’s Programs page for details about our Intro to Triple Threat programs for 5 to 9 year olds and our Mini Triple Threat programs for 10 to 15 year olds. These programs include Hip Hop dance along with Singing and Acting.

Hip Hop News at Blue Egg
Stu Iguidez & Kyle Vincente return to Vancity March 2012 having won 1st place at Canada’s largest Hip Hop competition – Artists Emerge. This is the second consecutive year that Stewart Iguidez (Stu) & Kyle and The Faculty crew have won this prestigious award. The Faculty are also World of Dance winners. Congratulations!!
